FOIPN Presentation: Frivolous and Vexatious Requests

FOI Assist was proud to sponsor, exhibit and present at this year’s Freedom of Information Police Network (FOIPN) Conference, held earlier this week at Science North in Sudbury, Ontario.

It was a pleasure to see many familiar faces again — and to meet so many new FOI professionals working in police services across the province.

I delivered two presentations at this year’s conference:

  • An overview of the FOI Assist software, including a look at new features and upcoming improvements; and
  • A second session focused on Frivolous and Vexatious Requests under Ontario’s freedom of information laws.

A copy of the slide deck from the Frivolous and Vexatious Requests presentation is available below:

Thanks to everyone who attended the sessions or dropped by the FOI Assist booth to chat. It was great to connect — and I look forward to seeing you again at future events!

If you’d like to get in touch — or if you’re interested in seeing a demonstration of the FOI Assist software — please feel free to reach out using the FOI Assist Knowledge Base Contact Form. I’d be glad to hear from you.
